Directions

Without a car

Without a car, getting to and around the area is not easy, as transport links and connections serve a sparsely populated area. Below are directions for routes from various parts of the country to and around the local area, and then on the site to the chalet.

From the North, Midlands, Wales

Take the M5 motorway South-West. At Exeter turn onto the A30 as far as Launceston where you take the A395, then A39 (Atlantic Highway) to Wadebridge. (Then follow local directions and site map below.)

From the South-East

Take either the A303 and A30, then follow directions above from the A30. Alternatively, take the M4 towards Bristol and M5 South-West, then follow as above (from M5).

From the South coast

The A27, M27, A31, A35, A30 bring you to the M5. Then follow as above (A30 to Launceston), or from M5 take A38 through Saltash, Liskeard, Bodmin and follow signs to Wadebridge. Then follow the local directions and site map below.

Local directions

After Wadebridge turn off the A39 onto the A389 towards Padstow, passing through the villages of St Issey and Little Petherick. Then follow one of the three routes marked with arrows on the local map below).
